MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
OUR MISSION: The Humane Society of Citrus County, Florida, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Public Charity created by the laws of the State of Florida and registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt corporation. Our purposes are for charitable and philanthropic animal welfare. Our main goals are to establish a shelter/haven for rescued, abandoned or abused animals in Citrus County; to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets by promoting spay neuter; to relieve suffering of all animals; to provide humane education and to support animal rights legislation. We are committed to provide financial aid to low income households for the purpose of spaying or neutering pets. We provide emergency aid for initial veterinary assessment/care to accident victims.
